ICMSF Contribution to CHIFSS 4th Anniversary

In an endeavour to promote the latest advances in food safety and food security, Capability Harnessing Initiative on Food Safety Sciences (CHIFSS) in partnership with the ICMSF, organised its 7th Stakeholder e-Forum on “Building Resilient Food Systems for the Future” on the occasion of its 4th Anniversary. The 4th CHIFSS Anniversary was virtually attended by eminent scientists, government officials and professionals from academia and Industry along with students from related fields.

Martin Cole, ICMSF chairman, presented a key note entitled “Food Safety Risk Management – more important than ever as we build resilient food systems of the future”.

In his talk, Martin discussed the global food safety and food security challenges and, amongst others, reviewed needs and opportunities to strengthen food safety risk management.
